A dominant second half display form the Melbourne outfit.

Tom English in a Rebels' match
With 50 unanswered points in the second half the Rising gain their third bonus point win to settle on top of NRC ladder, the final score of 18 - 79 punishes the home side, who suffered down a man in two occasions during the match, both scrumhalves Nick Frisby and Will Genia the culprits.
Tom English scored four tries for the Rising but for the man of the match award he had good challenges from Sean McMahon and Sam Jeffries, both dominant at the breakdown and from local competition hero Sefanaia Naivalu, already nicknamed SuperSefa, again at ease in the NRC.
The Rising went first up on the scoreboard with a try from Jonah Placid after four minutes, and scored a second with Naivalu straight away. But the home side was quick to react and tries flew in the first half with both teams crossing the whitewash in several occasion and seven tries between the two in the first stanza.
In the second half only one team was seen on the pitch with multiple majors coming at ease.
Former Wallaby Lloyd Johansson ended the game at flyhalf and scored his first points in the competition with a try and two conversions.

Good to see star scrumhalf Will Genia back in action, although his game hasn't been one to remember. He conceded first Rising's try of the second half with a stray pass, then was sinbinned by Steve Walsh for a cynic foul on City's try line.
